Activity and responsibility

Are you fascinated by vehicles? Do you want to prove your technical skills? And you want to work as hard as you can? Then training to become a bodywork and vehicle construction mechanic is just right for you. Here you will learn how car bodies are made and repaired using a wide range of techniques and tools. But you should not only have a lot of sensitivity in your hands, but also in dealing with customers. The demanding training lasts three and a half years, alternating between company and vocational school, after which you can start your career. In bodywork and vehicle construction, some tasks are carried out independently, while others require teamwork. Whether it's welding, measuring or cutting - you will learn all the processes and techniques.

Your profil

  • At least a good Hauptschule or Realschule certificate, in particular good knowledge of mathematics
  • Great enthusiasm for science and technology
  • Interest in further training, even after the apprenticeship

 

Training duration: 3.5 years
