We are a small, innovative vehicle construction company specialising in the development and production of customised mobile solutions for the motorsport and marketing sectors. Our vehicles are one-offs and prototypes that are manufactured to the highest standards. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced design engineer (m/f/d) in the field of vehicle construction.
Activity and responsibility
- Design and development: Design and development of customised vehicle solutions using CAD software.
- Prototype construction: Accompanying the entire prototype process from the concept phase to final realisation.
- Project work: Independent planning and realisation of projects, including time management and resource planning.
- Technical documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical drawings, parts lists and production documents.
- Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close cooperation with the sales, work preparation, purchasing and production departments, as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Customer interaction: Technical advice and support for our customers with specific requirements and customisations.
Your Profile
- Education: Degree in vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification, e.g. technician.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in design and development in vehicle construction, ideally in the field of commercial vehicle or special vehicle construction.
- CAD skills: Very good knowledge in the use of CAD software, preferably Inventor.
- Technical expertise: Sound knowledge in the areas of vehicle technology, materials science and manufacturing processes.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team: Ability for interdisciplinary co-operation and communication.
- Flexibility and creativity: High degree of flexibility and creativity in solving technical challenges.
- Language skills: Good command of written and spoken German and English.
